Company Profile
Berjaya Philippines, Inc. (BCOR) was originally incorporated on November 12, 1924 as Central Azucarera de Pilar mainly for the purpose of production of sugar. The Company subsequently changed its name to Prime Gaming Philippines, Inc. in relation to its acquisition of online lottery equipment leasing company Philippine Gaming Management Corporation (PGMC) in 1998. In 2010, the Board of BCOR approved the change of name to the present one.
In July 2019, BCOR reduced its shareholdings in PGMC to 39.99% and subsequently did not subscribe to the issuance of additional shares from the unissued capital of PGMC. As a result, PGMC ceased to be a subsidiary of the Company and became an associate instead.
