Aboitiz Power Corporation (AP), incorporated on February 13, 1998, serves as the holding company for the Aboitiz Group's investments in power generation, distribution, retail electricity, and related services. In July 2007, AP made its shares available to the public through an initial public offering (IPO).
AP operates through four core business segments: power generation, power distribution, retail electricity services, and distributed energy. Its power generation portfolio encompasses both renewable and non-renewable energy sources. The company manages its renewable energy investments through Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. These utilities collectively supply electricity to franchise areas covering 18 cities and municipalities, as well as five economic zones across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
With its diverse portfolio and strategic investments, Aboitiz Power continues to play a pivotal role in the Philippine energy industry, advancing both conventional and renewable energy solutions to meet the country's growing electricity needs.
