House of Investments, Inc. (HI) was incorporated in 1959 as an investment bank, the first of such bank to be organized in the Philippines. Through the years, HI evolved into an investment holding and management company with a diversified portfolio and became one of the four major flagship corporations of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC). The Company’s core business focus is organized into four segments, namely: car dealership, construction, education and property management services. HI owns and operates car dealerships under the Honda, Isuzu and Geely brands. In 2019, HI invested in a minority stake in Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation which owns and operates Geely distributorship and the dealership in North Edsa and in Makati. The Company owns a majority stake in EEI Corporation, a construction and general contracting firm with domestic and international operations spanning from Asia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. HI also owns a majority stake in iPeople, Inc., which owns the Malayan Education System, Inc. under the name of Mapúa University, Malayan Colleges Laguna, Inc. (A Mapúa School), Malayan Colleges Mindanao (A Mapúa School), Inc., Malayan High School of Science, University of Nueva Caceres, National Teachers College, and the APEC Schools. HI wholly owns Landev Corporation, which is primarily engaged in property management and project management for the YGC and provides comprehensive security services to leading installations through its subsidiary, Greyhounds Security and Investigation Agency Corp. The Company also owns 100% of San Lorenzo Ruiz Investment Holdings and Services, Inc., the owner of a property in Makati and a minority stake in RCBC Realty Corporation, the owner of RCBC Plaza.
