Company Profile
Manila Mining Corporation (MA) was incorporated on June 3, 1949 primarily engage in the mining and exploration of metals. The Company started its mining operations in Placer, Surigao del Norte in 1981. In July 2001, MA suspended its mining and milling operations pending receipt of the permit from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to further elevate and operate MA's tailings pond number seven.MA had mining lease contracts that have been converted into a mineral production share agreement and currently has three other mineral production sharing agreement applications in Surigao del Norte.MA is an affiliate of Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company. MA has one subsidiary, the Kalaya-an Copper-Gold Resources, Inc. of which it owns 95%, while the remaining is owned by Philex Mining Corporation.As of December 31, 2023, the Company has no new products or services its mining and milling operations remained suspended.Source: SEC Form 17-A (2023)
