Ayala Corporation (AC) is one of the oldest and most established conglomerates in the Philippines, with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1834. The company was incorporated on January 23, 1968, and made its debut on the Philippine Stock Exchange in 1976, marking its commitment to growth and transparency.

As the holding company for the Ayala Group of Companies, AC has diversified its business interests across several key sectors, including real estate and hotels, financial services and insurance, telecommunications, water supply, industrial technologies, power generation, automotive, and outsourcing services.

This agreement facilitated the closing actions for Trident's subscription to common shares in Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWC), leading to the deconsolidation of MWC and its classification as an investment in associate.
