Makati Finance Corporation (MFIN) was incorporated on February 17, 1966 as Makati Investment & Finance Corporation. MFIN's commercial operations started with engaging in stock dealership functions, credit line extensions, and acceptance of private placements. In mid-2000, MFIN decided to focus on the growth and expansion of its operations and lending activities.The Company has four main operating units that represent each main business line. These are Rx Cashline group, which involves loans especially tailored to medical professionals; MFC Factors group, which is responsible for running the receivables factoring business of small and medium enterprises; Motorcycle Financing group, which is tasked with sales and promotion, credit application, investigation, evaluation, recommendation, and collection for the motorcycle financing business of the Company; and Business loans, which is involved in ganting loans to finance business owners who wishes to expand its business or for the purpose of starting capital.MFIN also expanded its product lines to include new financial products such as corporate salary loans, personal loans, micro business loans, pension loans, car loans, and leisure bikes financing.
