DITO CME Holdings Corp. (DITO), formerly ISM Communications Corporation (ISM), was originally a mining company incorporated in March 1925, under the name Itogon-Suyoc Mines, Inc. As ISM, the Company was engaged in information technology, multimedia telecommunications, and other similar industries.On November 11, 2016, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the amendment in its primary purpose from business of telecommunications, multimedia and information technology to the business of a holding company. On March 6, 2020, the SEC approved the change in corporate name to the present one.The Company has assets in various segments within the information and communications technology sector, which comprise its business operations in telecommunications; digital media and content (gaming, entertainment, and education); managed analytics (risk and fraud analytics, conversational analytics, and advanced analytics); intelligent lifestyle and commerce platforms; and enabling infrastructures (data centers, managed information technology, and cloud services).DITO's foray into telecommunications is reflected in its interest in DITO Telecommunity Corporation (DITO Telecommunity), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Udenna Communications Media and Entertainment Holdings Corp.
