SFA Semicon Philippines Corporation (SSP), formerly Phoenix Semiconductor Philippines Corp., was incorporated on January 27, 2010. The Company is a global outsourced semiconductor assembly and test company whose facilities are located in the Philippines. SSP is a majority-owned subsidiary of SFA Semicon Co. Ltd. (SSK) and a part of the SFA Engineering Group of South Korea. SSP is one the country’s largest semiconductor companies and the biggest exporters in terms of dollar revenues in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. The Company is one of the major technology employers in the Freeport.The Company completed its Phase 2 manufacturing and support facility with production footprint of 15,000 square meters in 2018. It positions SSP to be a multi-customer facility to accommodate assembly and test contracts from new customers requiring memory and non-memory semiconductor products. It has acquired production orders in the last two years of its operation.The new facility augments the capacity of its first integrated manufacturing plant which serves as an exclusive outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility for the assembly and test of DRAM memory modules, memory component chips, memory solutions and SD flash cards for its customers through SSK, its parent company.Source: SEC Form 17-A (2023)
