Company Profile

Mynt, Inc. is the financial technology company behind GCash, a Philippine finance super app. It was incorporated on July 8, 2015, under the name Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc., and took its current name on December 5, 2025. Mynt began as a fintech joint venture of Globe Telecom, Ayala Corporation and Ant Financial. GCash itself is older than Mynt: Globe Telecom launched it in 2004 as an SMS-based payment service. It later grew into a full mobile finance platform covering payments, transfers, lending, savings, insurance and investments.

By 2025, GCash had reached national scale. That year it served 39.1 million monthly active users, processed P17.0 trillion in payment gross transaction value, and averaged 56.7 million transactions a day. When Mynt filed for its IPO in June 2026, it reported about 90 million registered users, roughly 78% of them living outside Metro Manila.

At the time of its listing, the GCash app was run by Mynt's subsidiary G-Xchange, Inc., a BSP-licensed e-money issuer, and Mynt also owned the digital lender FUSE Financing, Inc. and other fintech businesses. Its products included the GCash wallet, credit and lending (GCredit, GLoan, GGives), savings, investment funds, stock and bond trading, crypto, and insurance.

In 2025, Mynt reported gross revenues of P79.8 billion and net income of P17.2 billion. In the first half of 2026, its net income grew 7.3% year on year to P10.82 billion, and revenue rose 10.4% to P43.27 billion.

At the time of its IPO, Mynt's major shareholders included Globe Telecom, its largest single shareholder, along with Ant Group entities, AM 50 Ventures (a vehicle of Ayala Corporation and Mitsubishi), and Japan's MUFG Bank.

Mynt listed on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 20, 2026, under the ticker GCASH. It debuted with a market capitalization of about P441.5 billion, making it the seventh-largest domestic company on the exchange at the time. The IPO was priced at P6.60 per share, with a base offer of about P53 billion and an overallotment option that could bring total proceeds to about P60.9 billion. At the time, it was the largest IPO in the PSE's history. At listing, the company was led by President and CEO Martha Sazon and chairman Ernest Cu.
