Company Profile

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCB) was originally incorporated on September 23, 1960, as Rizal Development Bank and commenced operations as a private development bank in the province of Rizal. In 1962, the bank was acquired by members of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, a prominent financial services conglomerate known for its presence in insurance and risk management services. RCB received approval from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to operate as a commercial bank in 1963, subsequently rebranding under its current name. The company acquired its universal banking license in 1989.

RCB offers a comprehensive range of financial products, including commercial, corporate, and consumer lending solutions, cash management services, treasury products, and remittance services. The bank has also developed digital and mobile banking capabilities to enhance customer convenience. To manage foreign exchange exposures, RCB engages in forward currency contracts as a service to its clients.

The bank and its subsidiaries are involved in various sectors of traditional banking, investment banking, retail financing (including auto, mortgage/housing loans, credit cards, and microfinance loans), remittance, leasing, foreign exchange, and stock brokering.
